Review by hotel critic
At Katalina Spa Resort, my romantic escape was elevated by the stunning views of Batak reservoir from our spacious room. The inviting SPA allowed us to unwind effortlessly with its excellent amenities and perfect pool and jacuzzi temperatures. The warm welcome from the attentive staff set the tone for a delightful stay. We relished in playing billiards, savoring delectable cuisine, and exploring the diverse SPA offerings, all while being surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Witnessing the first snowfall of the season added a magical touch to our experience. Whether it was the well-kept rooms with expansive windows, the delicious dining options, or the friendly staff always eager to enhance our stay, every aspect of the hotel exuded excellence. I couldn't help but appreciate the value for money, especially compared to nearby options in Velingrad. From the relaxing spa treatments to the breathtaking lake views, Katalina Spa Resort is a hidden gem in the Balkans that I can't wait to revisit.
